At times, you may need round the clock care that can be provided on the In Patient Unit.
Multiple dates
The aim of this two-day interactive course is to enhance health care professionals’ communication skills when delivering sensitive conversations relating to end of life care. There will be the opportunity to observe real-life conversations relating to end of life issues. Participants will be expected to develop their own skills through taking part in role play within a safe and supportive environment. Participant numbers are small to ensure the learning is person focused. The following topic areas are covered:

Is this course for me?
The course is suitable for all healthcare workers whose practice involves end of life conversations and have previously undertaken communication skills training at intermediate level in order to be familiar with communication skills models.

Lunch
Sandwiches are available at Jersey Hospice Care at a subsidised rate and can be ordered on the day of the event at Reception.
An allergy guide will be available should you have any dietary requirements.
