Jersey Hospice Care is looking for a Payroll and Finance Officer to join our Finance Department on a temporary basis.

The postholder will be based at Jersey Hospice Care, Mont Cochon and will be responsible for undertaking and managing all aspects of the Jersey Hospice Care payroll, pension and benefit arrangements and the accounts payable process, whilst supporting the finance team with general administration duties. Alongside this they will be responsible for entering financial transactions and reconciling and producing reports for various areas of the business.

The ideal candidate will hold GCSE/O’level in English and Maths or able to demonstrate excellent standard of literacy and numeracy. They must have experience of processing payroll cycles and have knowledge of Jersey CER submission process.  A good working knowledge of accounting procedures and previous bookkeeping experience is required.
