Rachael Smith

After graduating as a physiotherapist from King’s College London, Rachael returned to Jersey in 2006 and began a 12 year career in the finance industry. She initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, following which she held roles across a number of financial services sectors including family office and private clients, and private equity fund administration. In 2009, Rachael qualified as a Chartered Company Secretary.

Rachael joined Jersey Hospice Care in 2018 as Charity Financial Controller and has been Director of Finance since 2021. She is responsible for all aspects of finance and governance across the organisation.
