Showing our appreciation through our Thank-a-thon!

This December, Jersey Hospice Care is once again holding its annual Thank-a-thon – a chance to take a moment to say a huge thank you to our supporters. It’s because of the generosity of the people who donate, help fundraise, or volunteer their time, that it’s possible for us to keep caring for islanders with life-limiting conditions, and their family and friends.

Over the past year, we’ve cared for hundreds of islanders – either through the Specialist Palliative Care Team looking after people in the community, in our In Patient Unit at Clarkson House, or through our bereavement counselling service – offered to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one. The money that’s kindly donated to us or raised for us keeps all of those vital services running.

Cheri Strudwick, Director of Income Generation & Marketing at Jersey Hospice Care, said: “On Friday, our team will be taking time to express our gratitude to the amazing individuals who have supported us this year. We'll be reaching out through emails, handwritten cards, and phone calls to connect with as many of you as possible and share our heartfelt appreciation. Each one of our supporters holds a special place in our hearts, and we truly couldn't do what we do without you.”
