Hospice Care Week (7-13 October) is a chance for all of us to champion hospice care on a wider scale. We’re applauding the incredible work that's being done to make sure everyone can benefit from the very best end of life care.

Like Hospice's in the UK, Jersey Hospice Care relies on fundraising to keep our doors open, and keep caring for people at the end of life. Bake sales, fun runs, and second-hand clothes and homeware are funding those vital services.

So this week, we’re proudly supporting Hospice UK’s Hospice Care Week - focusing on the importance of retail fundraising.

This year we’re celebrating our #HospiceShopHeroes – the amazing colleagues and volunteers who keep our shops running smoothly, raising the money we need to keep caring for our community.

During the week we’ll be sharing some great stories about our hospice shops, from unusual donations, to becoming part of someone's special day!

So, make sure you pop in and shop around at one of our shops - and share any great finds or stories you have with us too!
