About this event

This foundation level interactive, evidence-based workshop is aimed at all health care professionals. It sets the context of end of life care and will help you understand the meaning of palliative, end of life care and the Gold Standards Framework. The content will help you identify when people are approaching the end of their lives – 12 months or imminently dying and increase knowledge, confidence and understanding of the importance of Advance Care Planning and Treatment Escalation Plans.

Is this course for you? 

This course is suitable for all healthcare workers interested in learning more about Palliative and End of Life Care essentials. It is a foundation course that is useful for those new to this speciality and as preparation for more advanced sessions.
